Bhandardara Camping is 75 km from Nashik and 165 km from Pune.  The campsite is on the banks of Arthur Lake, also known as Bhandardara Lake. Having been graced with generous natural vegetation, water bodies, and gorgeous sites, Bhandardara lake camping is a prime tourist spot in Maharashtra. , it is a one-of-a-kind experience one must not miss out on! Bhandardara lake camping is best known for its adventure sports, fabulous sightseeing, best resort places, and breathtaking climate. Located 50 kms from Kasara railway station, our campsite is a hotspot of tourism for its natural beauty. This camp by the lake is a great place to stay and enjoy a getaway in the lap of nature. The best  time to visit Bhandardara Lake is during the months of October to February, Bhandardara lakeside camping includes tent stays for 2 to 5 people, unlimited food for three meals, a fun-filled barbeque and musical night, indoor and outdoor games, and a bonfire. It also includes forest visits, tree swings, fishing and so much more. All this to make sure, you feel relaxed, refreshed, and recharged!

Q: How do I get to Bhandardara camping?

  • From Mumbai: Bhandardara is 165 km from Mumbai. Kasara station is the nearest station to Bhandardara. You can hire a private cab or we can connect you to a driver who charges the below. The cab charges Rs. 3000 (Kasara-campsite-Kasara) for a group of up to 8 adults and Rs. 3500 (Kasara-campsite-Kasara) for a group of 9-13 adults. Please select the 'Cab Details' add-on at the time of booking if you want the details for the driver.
  • You can also take a bus from Kasara station to Muthkhel Gaon.
  • From Nashik: Bhandardara is 75 km from Nashik. You can take the MSRTC bus from Ghoti to Muthkhel Gaon.
  • Complimentary pick-up or drop service is available from the Muthkhel bus stop.

Q: What is the best time to visit bhandardara?

The best time to visit Bhandardara is during monsoon and early winter i.e. from May to September. During this season, the temperature is at its best and the place blooms with lush greenery and gushing waterfalls and you will experience an enchanting charm.

The trek duration depends on the group's interests. It varies from 1 hour up to 5 hours.

Washroom facilities (common) are available at the campsite during the stay. Bathroom facilities are available at walking distance from the campsite.

  • Breakfast - Kanda Poha with tea
  • Dinner (Non-Veg) - Chicken Barbeque (180-200 grams), chicken handi, rice, bhakri/roti, papad, salad
  • Dinner (Veg) - Paneer Barbeque (180-200 grams), Dry sabzi, gravy sabzi, dal fry, rice, bhakri/roti, papad, salad.

Q: Is Jain food available?

Yes, Jain food is available but needs to be informed beforehand.

Q: What outdoor games are present at the Bhandardara Camping?

Outdoor Games like Cricket, Volleyball, and Badminton are available at the campsite.

Q: We are a group of odd people. Will we have to share tents with other groups?

The tents are by default given on twin sharing basis. In case, you are a group of odd people (3,5,7,9), the last tent would be on a single sharing basis. We won't make you share with random strangers.

Q: What are the accommodations inside the tents?

Inside the tents, you get foam mattresses, pillows, bedsheets & blankets.
